Therapy can encompass a wide range of treatments
If you or someone you know starts to feel mentally unwell, or has been previously diagnosed with a mental impairment the first step in obtaining treatment is to schedule an appointment with a doctor or health professional for diagnosis and/or treatment. After a thorough assessment, a doctor, psychologist and/or member of Neurateq's clinical team can make a diagnosis based on a particular pattern of symptoms and life events. As a partner in your own treatment plan, together a decision will then be made about the best treatment for these symptoms and their underlying causes.
Neurateq's mental health counselors work with individuals, groups and communities; such as the military, minority, LGBTQ communities to improve mental health. Neurateq's therapies and applications are safe zones therefore we encourage clients and patients to discuss emotions and experiences. Through our innovative evidence-based therapies and treatment options we can deeply examine issues and concerns related to brain injuries, substance abuse, sexual trauma, bullying, anger management, workforce anxiety, depression, social anxiety, relationships, self-image, stress and much more.
Moreover, Neurateq largely evaluates and treats patients with various types of nervous system disorders. We are largely concerned with relationships between the brain, emotion and behavior. Neurateq's clinical team conducts evaluations to characterize behavioral and cognitive changes resulting from central nervous system disease, trauma and injuries. The core of our framework links and studies the relationship between the brain's structure, functions and its emotions, behavior, cognition, and mental ability. Resulting in direct and accurate knowledge of reasons surrounding a person's mood, behavior and ability to think. Treatment may include psychological therapy, medication and various supports within Neurateq's mental healthcare hub and support community, resulting in not only our clinical staff supporting you but peer support and you as the partner and active participant in your wellness gaining a deeper knowledge about yourself and helping yourself overcome the obstacles you're facing and impairments you may have.
